Introducing – Qualcomm Snapdragon

Frankly,  when anyone mentioning Qualcomm devices for reference, Iv no idea why I always imagining ‘s-u-c-k-s’ in my mind. Previously HTC release lots of Qualcomm devices like Diamond, Touch Pro and Touch HD. With the VGA screen glory and ‘gorgeous’ looked, Qualcomm itself being culprit due poor performance involving 2D,3D graphic capabilty and video playback

However, the snapdragon platform preview in last MWC (Mobile World Congress) might change my view onto Qualcomm reputation. But was it ?

Well it looks  great, but I see they NOT mention about 2D drawing acceleration… Its important for smoothness screen scrolling, UI screen drawing and 2D gaming.

Most current winmo devices already  ‘a day long’ battery life. Perhaps is offer lower battery consumption. Taking example from Toshiba TG01, its performance is promising  (I hope)

  4. As Sarah said, these texts shown on the Snapdragon block diagram are very unclear still, even though clicking on the picture to zoom out.
